The umbrella reservations at Typhoon Lagoon include 4 people. Can we share our umbrella with our cousins who will also be at the park if we so choose, or are the umbrellas in a restricted area that can only be accessed by 4 people on the reservation?

Hello Kendra and welcome back to planDisney!

Picture this: a warm, early summer day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park...total paradise, right? Between the chill island vibes, the heart-pounding waves at North America’s largest wave pool, and the perfect balance of thrills and relaxation, it will no doubt be an amazing day!

I am a huge fan of the Typhoon Lagoon Umbrellas. Each setup includes an umbrella, two lounge chairs, a pair of beach chairs, a drink table, and towels, giving you a cozy spot to unwind. These rentals accommodate up to four people, and everyone gets a wristband for access, so sharing access is not an option.

Need space for a bigger group? The Beachcomber Shacks have you covered! These private cabanas hold up to six guests and come equipped with cushioned seats, towels, a locker, refillable drink mugs, and a cooler filled with bottled water and ice. Plus, you’ll have an attendant ready to handle your food orders, making it feel like a true VIP experience. If that’s not enough, you could always rent two Typhoon Lagoon Umbrellas to keep your whole group shaded and comfy.

planDisney Insider Tip: Don’t forget water shoes! The Florida sun can turn the pavement scorching hot. Happy feet mean more time for wave riding, lazy river cruising, and splash-filled adventures!

Hope you have an awesome, sun-soaked day at Typhoon Lagoon!
