Hi Sarah, and a very warm welcome to planDisney! I completely understand how important it is to ensure every detail of your holiday is set so that your little Mouseketeer can enjoy the most magical time at Walt Disney World Resort!
You’ll be pleased to know that
parking for Guests with disabilities is readily available throughout the resort (including Disney Springs), and your Blue Badge can be used for access. Just be sure to display it clearly in your vehicle. The lovely Cast Members at the parking entrance are always so kind and ready to assist if you need help finding the right area. Everything is well signposted, so you’ll have no trouble navigating to the designated spaces.
Since you’re here with us at planDisney, I’d also love to tell you about the Disability Access Service (DAS), which can be such a wonderful help. This free service is designed for Guests whose disability makes it difficult to wait in traditional queues, ensuring you and your family can experience the magic comfortably. You can register for DAS at Guest Services in each park.
If you’d like to explore more ways to make your trip as seamless as possible, Disney provides an
Attraction Access Categories guide online, which gives insight into accommodations that might suit your needs. If you have any specific questions regarding disability-related services, specialist Cast Members are always available to assist via email at
disability.services@disneyparks.com.
Sarah, I truly hope this information helps ease any concerns and brings a bit of peace of mind as you plan your adventure. Your little one is set for a holiday brimming with happiness, magic, and lifelong memories! If you need anything else as your trip approaches, know that we’re always here to support you at
planDisney.
Wishing you a trip full of joy and magic,
Louise
