Hi Alan, and welcome to planDisney! Walt Disney himself was known for his curiosity, so I love that you’ve brought your question to us.
You’re absolutely right - during specially ticketed events like
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the
Multi Pass Lightning Lane isn’t available for standard use. I do hope you had a frightfully fantastic evening soaking up all the spooky magic that only Disney can offer!
Guests can still use the Lightning Lane Entrance if they’re using
Rider Switch, a brilliant service for families with little ones. This allows part of your group to wait with the kids while the others ride, and then swap so the waiting adults can hop on without standing in line again.
In addition, Disney's Disability Access Service (DAS) allows eligible Guests to use the Lightning Lane entrance to ensure everyone can enjoy the magic with ease.
I hope that clears things up for you, Alan! And once you’re back in the UK, don’t be surprised if Disney magic calls to you once more. It always does! By the way, there’s still time to take advantage of the amazing
Free Dining offer for 2025. It’s a hard one to resist, trust me!

Magic always,
