I’m glad you’ve downloaded the
My Disney Experience app and successfully linked your party’s
theme park tickets. The My Disney Experience app allows you to organize your plans before you arrive and serves as a personal guide for your theme park experience after you arrive at
Walt Disney World Resort. Good news, Andrew! Once you arrive in the US, the already installed MDE app will allow you to purchase
Lightning Lane passes. There is no need to download the MDE app again when you arrive.
If you are a
Disney Resort hotel Guest, you can buy Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days before the first day of your resort stay (upon arrival in the US) for the length of your stay (up to 14 days). If you are not staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can purchase Lightning Lane passes up to 3 days in advance (upon arrival in the US).
