UGH! Need the experts to help me with a tough decision. Doing HS for 2 days but for only 4 meals (light BF at hotel then L/D at HS). With 5 great TS places to eat, which one do I skip? Could you please rank the HS TS places in favorite order. THANKS AGAIN!

Hi Ana! This is a tough one! You're right that Hollywood Studios has several great restaurants, and it can be hard to choose among them. I recommend that you take a look at the menus for each of the sit-down restaurants in Hollywood Studios to determine which ones have food that most appeals to your family. You'll find links to the menus for most Disney restaurants on the right side of each restaurant's webpage on the Disney site.

My family's favorite Hollywood Studios restaurant is the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater. My kids think it's so cool that we eat our meal in cars there while we watch campy drive-in movies and the servers whiz by on roller skates. The atmosphere is so unique; it's not to be missed. The food is not gourmet, but the sandwiches and shakes are satisfying. (I like the Reuben!)

Our other main go-to restaurant at Hollywood Studios is Mama Melrose's. My family loves Italian food and my son's main diet is pizza, so the menu here is a hit with my family. The 50s Prime Time Cafe is a fun themed restaurant, and like the Sci-Fi, the atmosphere alone makes it a must visit. The servers' antics really keep you laughing and the food is homey and tasty. If you like a gourmet dining experience, the Hollywood Brown Derby is a great choice. It's elegant, but still kid-friendly, and the Cobb salad and grapefruit  cake are legendary.

My family tends to skip Hollywood & Vine because my husband is not a big fan of buffets and my children are too old to enjoy the Disney Junior characters. If, however, you have young children or you love buffets, you'd probably prefer the Hollywood & Vine over the Brown Derby.

Wherever you dine, I hope you have a magical time at Hollywood Studios! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
