Walt Disney World Resort is nearly 43 square miles, which makes it bigger than some cities. And like some cities, they have a fleet of vehicles to help guests get from place to place. But sometimes you need to take a more direct route, so let’s look at those options.
I’m happy to report that you can use rideshare services like Lyft and Uber while visiting Walt Disney World. Just keep in mind that these vehicles have designated drop-off areas at each of the theme parks, and it may not be as close to the main gate as
Walt Disney World transportation options. For example, rideshare vehicles headed to the Magic Kingdom drop off and pick up at the Transportation and Ticket Center, where guests can then board the ferry boat or Monorail to go to the park. The exception is the
Minnie Van service, which can be booked through the Lyft app. Minnie Vans are driven by Walt Disney World Cast Members, and they are able to drop guests off and pick up at or near the theme park bus stations.
