    Need to get info about disability accommodations?

    Hiya, Kelsay! Welcome to planDisney! 

    It looks like your Walt Disney World adventure is quickly approaching. How exciting! I’m sure you’re counting down the days, hours, and minutes (maybe the seconds?) until your vacation. I’m sure it’s going to be an amazing visit, especially since it’s during the spooky season. 

    Walt Disney World has a helpful website (which you can find here) that outlines its services and support for guests with disabilities.  It includes information on mobility accommodations, supports for neurodivergent guests, information on visiting with service animals, services for blind or low-vision guests, and supports for guests with hearing loss or deafness. I’d suggest browsing this page ahead of your visit, and if it doesn’t have the info you’re looking for, you can email disability.services@disneyparks.com (a link to email is also located at the bottom of the page). A Cast Member will be happy to answer your questions and help with your specific situation. 

    As I mentioned, your upcoming visit will overlap with Walt Disney World’s Halloween celebrations. I’d highly suggest checking out the Disney Parks Blog for a preview of grim grinning special offerings, like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It’s the best resource for getting news and updates on everything related to the Disney Parks.
