Hi Jesiree,
My family has visited the Walt Disney World Resort during November multiple times, and I'm super excited that you'll be experiencing the magic and fun yourself this fall! The entire Resort will be transitioning into the
holiday spirit, so you'll be able to enjoy some gorgeous decorations, festive music, and wonderful special events like
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, which just happens to be my
very favorite special event of the entire year!
Definitely keep your eye on the weather forecast as we get closer to the time of your visit, but my number one suggestion for clothing for November is to bring layers. Daytime will likely be sunny and warm, but it could be chilly in the morning hours or after the sun goes down. We bring sweatshirts with us and either tie them around our waists or keep them in a separate backpack. You can either keep a backpack with you or there will be
lockers available to rent if you'd rather not worry about it. There have been a few times when we've wanted jackets, hats, and gloves, too, but that's not necessarily the norm, and I'm hopeful that Elsa won't put a cold spell over central Florida during your visit. No matter what time of year we visit, I always pack a drawstring backpack with ponchos in it in case an afternoon shower pops up. That's very common in Florida! In my opinion, however, the
most important part of your wardrobe to consider as far as keeping you comfortable is your shoes. There is a LOT of walking during a Disney vacation, so please make sure everyone has supportive shoes and comfortable socks. You don't want a blister to turn into the latest Disney villain, trying to steal your magic and fun!
I hope this is helpful as you think about what to pack, Jesiree, and please feel free to come see us again if you have any other questions. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
