    Going to Typhoon Lagoon again, but this year for my son's 12th birthday. Is there a place we (all 5 of us) can rent to guarantee a spot, like a private shelter or picnic area? We are going in August right before back to school!

    Hi, Julianna! What a great birthday treat! Yes, Typhoon Lagoon offers premium spaces for rental, and at this water park, they are called Beachcomber Shacks. There are four of these spots, and each one accommodates up to six Guests. Renting a Beachcomber Shack includes the personalized services of an attending Cast Member, private lockers, all-day, refillable drink mugs, a cooler filled with bottled waters, comfortable lounge furniture, tables, and towel rental. You will be provided with a bracelet for each person in your party that permits access to the Beachcomber Shack. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis, unless you make advance reservations by calling (407) WDW-PLAY, which is my recommendation. Full payment is required at the time of reservation.
