Hey there, Christina!
There's a whole list of payment options for your visit to
Walt Disney World. And because not every shop or restaurant your go into will be owned and operated by Disney, you may find that there are other options I haven't included in this list, or you'll find some vendors don't take all of these forms of payment. But, if we're just talking
Disney Resorts Collection hotels and Disney owned
restaurants, you can use:
Visa
Mastercard
American Express
Discover
Diners Club Charge Card
JCB (Japan Credit Bureau)
Disney Gift CardDisney Visa Instant CreditDisney Reward DollarsIt might also help to know that
you can use PayPal when booking your resort room at Walt Disney World, although this is not an option if you are using a travel agent.
You'll also see some locations now accept Apple Pay and Google Pay. This isn't a feature accepted in all locations, so ask before you check out.
I also wanted to quickly mention the new Mobile Checkout option, available at select shops in Walt Disney World. Once you have a form of payment linked to your account, access the
My Disney Experience app on your phone. If you hit the plus sign at the bottom, you'll see an option to Shop in Store. You'll scan your items, add them to your bag, then when you finish, show your purchase QR code to a cast member, and you're good to go. You'll be on your way to
Space Mountain in no time at all.
Enjoy your visit, Christina!
