I have 2 types of hotel reservations with OKW (Nov 7-9 Dining Plan; Nov9-12 DeluxeDP) with their own tickets (1 Park DHS tick; Nov9-12 park hoppers). Will these 2 reservations get mixed up?Can they be combined in terms of credit allotments? How abt tickets?

    Hi Garry!

We too are planning what is known as a “split stay” this autumn. There are some things that are a little different with this type of trip, so I’m glad you’ve asked.  Because you have two separate reservation numbers there are a few things to keep in mind.

Two sets of Magic Bands will be generated. You may customize them in My Disney Experience, and if you wish you may decline one of the sets. Both sets are interchangeable for any of your stays! In terms of your park tickets, both your 1 Day Ticket and your Park Hopper Ticket will be loaded onto your Magic Bands. You’ll need to make sure that the 1 Day Disney’s Hollywood Studios ticket has been prioritized to be used first, or it is possible that one day of your Park Hopper Ticket could be used. I recommend leaving yourself a little extra time on arrival and visiting the Guest Services window outside Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and they can be sure that the correct ticket is ready to be used for your park entrance.

Things will work a little differently with your Disney Dining Plan entitlements. Those will not be lumped together except on November 9, 2015. Your Disney Dining Plan credits will be available from your check-in date of November 7, 2015, and will expire at midnight on November 9, 2015. Then, your Deluxe Dining Plan Credits will begin on November 9, 2015, and will expire on November 12, 2015, at midnight. I would just be sure when using the remainder of your credits from your first stay on November 9, that you double check with the Cast Member that the credits are being deducted from the correct stay.

I hope this information is helpful, Garry! Wishing you a delicious and delightful Disney vacation!
