What type of transportation is available from Art and Animation to Magic Kingdom for the early magic hours for families with toddlers?

    Hi Joan,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

I'm so excited to hEAR that you're staying at one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort hotels-Disney's Art of Animation! This beautiful resort features art from some of Disney's newer feature films-Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King and The Little Mermaid. You'll find some life-size photo opportunities there, so be sure to put on your walking shoes and explore your resort a bit.  Don't forget your camera!

Joan, all Walt Disney World Resorts have bus service that can accommodate your entire family starting 45 minutes prior to park opening (including Extra Magic Hours that are exclusively for Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests) and ending one hour prior to park closing.  Transportation is available from the theme parks back to your resort hotel for two hours after park closing.

Should you decide that a bus is not your speed, Disney's Minnie Van Service is truly phenomenal.  You use the Lyft app to access this service and pay right through your smartphone (I suggest downloading the app and creating your account prior to arrival if you haven't already done so). You can rest easy knowing that the Minnie van driver is a Walt Disney World Resort Cast Member and you will ride in style in a red van with white polka dots! Vans to accommodate all family sizes are available (from SUVs to large team-style vans), with car seats upon request.

Come back and see us again with any additional planning questions!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
