What type of entertainment is at the Boardwalk? Is it only during the evening or is ther anything during the afternoon? Thanks for all the help.

    Hi Heather,

My family loves enjoying the numerous activities and entertainers on the Boardwalk and we venture there often, even when staying at another Disney resort. I think my three boys now know all the entertainers by name.

While there are merchandise shops, restaurants, lounges, an ice cream and candy shop as well as two arcades, to enjoy during the day, the majority of the activity and the entertainers are found during the evening. There are a few carnival games as well as face painting and hair wraps that are open occasionally during the day for peak travel season, otherwise these also open around dinner time.

The entertainers, which include comedians, jugglers and magicians, typically begin their shows around 6 or 6:30pm and the last show is often around 10 or 10:30pm. The shows last around fifteen minutes and typically there are around three acts that rotate during the night. there are two main areas where the performers are usually found: just across from the Flying Fish Cafe and outside the main merchandise shop. During inclement weather, the performers are often found in the main lobby of the resort. Our favorite is Brian, be sure to look for him in his lovely purple polyester suit, with his amazing straight jacket or lemon trick!

Hope you have a great time!
