What type of edible items, and how many per person or allowable to enter the park with each passholder.

Hi Kayla! Thanks for bringing your question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

When you visit any of the four theme parks at the Walt Disney World Resort, you tend to walk and explore quite a bit. You work up a sweat and want something to eat and drink! While there are so many kinds of foods and beverages to enjoy at each of the parks, you are absolutely allowed to bring in your own edible items.

I always pack some bottled water, canned sodas, juice boxes and snacks like fruit and crackers for my family. All of these items are allowed into the theme parks with the exception of food or drinks in glass containers. Baby food in a glass jar is allowed.

I have seen many families eating homemade sandwiches at lunch time during my adventures at the parks. Please keep in mind, meals that need to be warmed up, are not allowed. To be sure that what you’re wanting to bring is allowed into the theme parks, take a look at the Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules.

An important thing to remember when you’re making your way into the parks for the day, is to let the security Cast Member know that you have food items in your bag during your security check. It makes the process a lot quicker.

Kayla, when you are ready to make reservations for a special meal or if you need some ideas for activities during your visit, come back to see us for suggestions. Helping you plan your magical vacation is our specialty!
