What type of coffee maker is in the Gran Villa‘s three bedroom at old Key West resort is it a Keurig a Keurig duo with a coffee pot and pods or something else?

Hello, Carol! Welcome to planDisney! You'll be arriving soon for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so let's pour a cuppa joe and talk about my favorite morning ritual: coffee!

I took the online virtual tour of a 3-Bedroom Grand Villa at Disney's Old Key West Resort, and I see a 12-cup drip coffee maker in the kitchen. You'll also find supplies to make a few pots, including sweeteners and creamer. I've found that the coffee usually comes in pre-measured filter packs and is often Joffrey's brand. Okay, now I'm craving a hot mug myself!

Feel free to reach out to Housekeeping Service if you need additional supplies. You can also ask if they offer other coffee-making options for your use during your stay. While there's no guarantee they'll have a different style machine, it never hurts to ask. And keep in mind that specific appliances can vary from room to room; I think of it as a pixie-dust surprise to see what's waiting!

Once you're settled and know which caffeine-generating device you'll have, my tip is to place a grocery order for delivery to your resort. Many local stores accept online orders, and Bell Services will hold most items until you're ready for them. My husband and I did this recently at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and it worked like a charm. We had snacks for the week and our favorite coffee brand for our stay. Talk about a home away from home!

Carol, I'm raising a steaming cup of java to toast your upcoming visit. Please stop by planDisney anytime. I'll bring the sugar!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
