TY for responding! I PP my gratuities, however if I want to give an add'l tip to my stateroom host, what amount do you suggest? Also, we're celebrating my 40th & my baby's 2nd bday.

Welcome back, Donnette! I'm glad I was able to help with your previous question! Thanks for stopping back again! First of all, an early happy 40th birthday to you! What a great way to celebrate your birthday and your little guy's birthday! I celebrated my birthday on the Disney Wonder last year and it was one of the most magical ones yet!

If you haven't already, be sure to let Disney Cruise Line's agents know to make a note on your reservation that you'll both be celebrating birthdays. This way your service team will know this before you get onboard and they may just surprise you with a little something. Also, stop by Guest Services to pick up birthday buttons for each of you so that other Cast Members can wish you a happy birthday as well!

The traditional gratuities are pre-paid, and those are as follows, (per person, including kids, per night of the sailing):

    Server: $4
    Assistant Server: $3
    Head Server: $1
    Stateroom Host: $4

When you receive the tip envelopes and pre-paid cards to put into them on the last night of your sailing, you are welcome to add additional tips if you'd like, either by chatting with Guest Services to charge your account or by putting extra cash in the tip envelopes before you hand them out. It's really up to you and how you find the service to be. Our family usually adds another $10 or $20 so for each of our servers and host if we've had exemplary service, which we usually do! The amount will vary by length of cruise too. A longer cruise, we'd give a bit more as extra than a shorter sailing. But, there is no requirement, so do as you feel best, Donnette!

Have fun as you continue to plan, and please stop back again if you have other questions!
