Two years ago, my son was too shy to do the Jedi Training at HS. He wants to this time. He'll be 11, BUT he is as big as my 13 year old and is probably a head taller than anyone in his class. Am I going to have issues getting him signed up?

Hi, Kelly! Thanks for bringing another great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When my daughter participated in Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple, we had the opposite problem: she was full of gusto and ready to defeat the Empire, but as soon as Darth Vader walked onto the stage, she froze! Luckily her Jedi guide was right behind her and helped her wield her lightsaber against the Evil Lord.

Since the experience is designed for younglings between the ages of 4 and 12, you’ll see a wide range of heights among the participants, so you shouldn’t have any issues registering your son for the experience. Just make sure you arrive at the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost (right next to the 50’s Prime Time Cafe) as close as you can to the time Disney’s Hollywood Studios opens for the day. You’ll definitely want to make sure your son is with you, as all participants must be present to register.

I hope your son has an amazing time during his Jedi training, Kelly! Make sure you leave lots of time in your day to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, too: it is one of the most immersive, amazing Theme Park experiences I’ve ever had! I’m sure the Star Wars fans in your family will love it, too.
