Hot dog, Katelyn! I love hearing that a little Mouseketeer is getting ready to visit Mickey and Minnie - especially for his birthday! I remember taking our little guys to Disney World for their birthdays! They are now 20, 20, and 17. Their favorite birthday memories are Disney World birthdays! There is something extra magical about
visiting Disney World with a little one!
I’m glad you brought this important planning question to us, as there is some conflicting information that exists regarding this very question.
The short answer(s) to your question are “no” and “yes.” No, your Disney prince will not need theme park admission tickets as long as he is two years old. However, once he turns three, yes, he will need a child’s (ages 3 – 9) theme park admission ticket to enter any of the Disney Parks. This is true even if he turns three during your vacation.
The Cast Members and other Guests at Disney World will want to celebrate with your son! Be sure to get a complimentary Happy Birthday button for your son to show off! These are available at the front desk of any Disney World hotel or from
Guest Relations at the Disney Parks!
Katelyn, send us another question if your son has a favorite Disney character that he would love to see on his birthday! My fellow planDisney panelists and I can let you know the best place(s) to find that special Disney friend!
Dreams do come true!
