    We are two weeks before our vacation and I just found out my daughter has to have emergency surgery. I did buy insurance and was wondering how my chances are to change my trip for 6 weeks later. I also have tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas.

    I am sorry to hear about your daughter and I hope everything works out for her.

    You should reach out to the company that holds your insurance policy and ask what your options are for refunding your money. Once you have that information, you can then make decisions around rebooking the vacation.

    As for the tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, they are generally non-refundable. Your insurance policy will state if you can use the policy to refund this ticket. 

    As for rescheduling in two weeks, you should work directly with Disney or a travel agent about making those reservations.
