    We have two trips planned, one in April and another in November 2019. Is there any indication that Moana will be available for meet & greets at WDW?

    Thanks for sailing by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Our family loves Moana and her spirit of adventure. Unfortunately, because she is a fearless Wayfinder, the seas have called her, and currently, she does not have a permanent greeting place at Walt Disney World. The Disney Parks Blog will be the first place to announce her return, and I am hopeful that the stars will bring her back soon! 

    While we are waiting for her wayfinding adventures to be over, there are incredible adventures to be had in the spirit of ‘Ohana at the Walt Disney World Resort. You and your family can join Woody, Buzz, and friends as you play BIG in Andy’s backyard at the all-new Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Slinky Dog Dash has become my family’s favorite attraction, and I know Maui would approve of the Lunch Box Tarts at Woody’s Lunch Box!

    When you return in November (lucky you!) you should be just in time for my favorite Walt Disney World special event, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! Besides the complimentary yuletide treats, you will experience shorter-than-average wait times on popular attractions, special character greetings (who knows, maybe Moana will be back in time to celebrate the holidays?), and Santa! Exact dates for 2019 are yet to be released, but this particular event is usually offered on several dates throughout November and December. Keep an eye on the 2019 schedule for dates and ticket details.
