Hi there, Lydia! Thanks for stopping by planDisney... you've come to the right place!
Mickey and I are so sorry to hear about your canceled Christmas trip to The Happiest Place on Earth. Unfortunately,
theme park tickets at Disneyland Resort are non-refundable and non-transferable, meaning you won't be able to use their value towards Walt Disney World Resort tickets.
However, you may apply the amount paid for any
wholly unused expired Disneyland Resort theme park ticket towards the purchase of a new theme park admission ticket at the current price. If the new ticket purchase price is greater than the amount paid for the original tickets, then you'll need to pay the difference. I encourage you to consider rebooking your trip to California, as there is something extraordinary about being in "The House that Walt Built." When you decide on your new travel dates to Disneyland Resort, give
Ticket Services a call at (714) 781-4636, and they will reissue your tickets.
Being a true Walt Disney World Resort fan myself, I don't want to discourage you from visiting Mickey in his East Coast residence! Although the two parks are similar in many ways, there are many magical differences, and it would be fun for you to compare the two.
The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration will continue through early 2023, and there's so much to see and do! I'm also anxiously awaiting the opening of
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind set to debut later this summer!
We hope to see ya real soon, Lydia!
