We have two separate families 4/4 coming to WDW. Both families have the DDP. If we decided to have dinner/lunch together, how would the gratuity work? Would it be 18% each?

    Hi Samantha!

It sounds like you are going to have a very magical time on vacation with such a large group.   I used to travel every Christmas with over 30 family members and we always had so much fun.   The more the merrier I say.    I hope you have a fabulous trip.

Yes, if you all enjoy a meal at a Disney Dining location together seated at one table the 18% automatic gratuity for parties of six or more would be added to each separate bill.  Just a few months ago I dined with about 10 other Moms Panelists and we each had separate checks but sat at one large table together.  The gratuity was added to each of our bills at the end of the meal.

Samantha, we love to help answer vacation planning questions so if anything else pops up as you plan, just stop by once again.

    Have a Tiggerific Day,
