Hello, we are two seniors who had a trip planned for June 2020, needless to say we didn’t make it. Haven’t been since 2015 and we are considering a trip in 2022. Our concern is that WDW may no longer be senior friendly given the reduced amenities and price

    Welcome back, Lloyd!

Oh, Lloyd, I had to cancel a few vacations myself during the not-so-magical summer of 2020, so I know how you felt once you pressed that big blue cancel button.

Lloyd, it sounds like you and your wife are Walt Disney World Resort fans, and I can honestly tell you that 2022 will be a fantastic year to visit.

I can not wait to experience all the magic that the 50th-anniversary celebrations will bring.  As a fireworks lover, I think that I am most looking forward to the all-new Disney Enchantment and Harmonious nighttime spectaculars. Happily Ever After was such an amazing show, and I am sure Enchantment will be even more phenomenal.

In terms of amenities, almost everything at Walt Disney World Resort has reopened, with the exception of some character experiences. One of my favorite parts of any Walt Disney World Resort vacation are the amazing shows, so I am so happy to hear that Beauty & The Beast - Live on Stage has returned!

To make sure that you get the best deal possible on your vacation, be sure that you check out the "Special Offers" section of the Walt Disney World Resort website. Even if you have already booked your vacation package, these offers can often be retroactively applied to your package, so be sure to keep checking!

Lloyd, I do so hope that you will take your September 2022 vacation. You will not regret it, and we here at planDisney are always here to help make your trip practically perfect in every way.

    See you real soon!
