Two questions: what would your choice be for a Downtown Disney restuarant with adults only and then which for adults and 6 year old?

Hi, Ms. Kay!  Between the Marketplace, West Side, and Pleasure Island, you'll find a plethora of restaurants to suit any palate.  Everything from dining with dinosaurs to enjoying a taste of the Emerald Isle can be found at Downtown Disney.

Some six year olds would enjoy the dining experience at T-Rex or Rainforest Cafe.  You'll find extensive menus at both locations, and, as you might guess, one has a dinosaur theme, while the other drops you right in the middle of a tropical Rainforest.  I will tell you, dining at these locations can be very different experiences for six year olds.  I have three daughters, and for my oldest, the Rainforest Cafe was terrifying.  As you dine at either location, large animatronics come to life, and you may experience lightening and thunder.  My two littles were a bit more adventurous, but my oldest spent much of her meals there under the table.

As an alternative, check out Raglan Road.  This is as authentic an Irish pub as you'll find this side of Dublin, and my kids love it!  You'll find Irish entertainment each evening in this very family friendly restaurant,, and it's a great way to end an evening.

For an adults only dinner, if you're looking for something more casual, I love Bongos Cuban Cafe.  You'll find traditional Cuban specialties in a casual, relaxed environment.  They have the very best mojitos, and the food is authentic.  It's a bit loud, but the music is energizing!

Another unique experience is Paradiso 37.  The flavors of the Americas are featured here, and it's a great place to try new and unique foods.  From Colombian crispy hen to Argentinian skirt steak, you'll find flavors abound.  Try the crazy corn!

Enjoy your wonderful dining experiences, wherever you choose!
