Two more questions, as the advice here is amazing!! 1. Pirates and Pals Dessert Cruise... anybody done it? Any feedback? Good for adults? 2. Mickey's Halloween.... would adults enjoy? Or is it geared more towards kids? Thinking about all our options!

Hello there, Angela! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for stopping by and asking another excellent Walt Disney World Resort question!

As someone that often goes on trips with only other adults, I can personally believe that Walt Disney World Resort is a great place for all ages, including adult Guests! Walt Disney World Resort has become a magical place for dining, shopping, and experiencing many different types of entertainment. There are even unique experiences geared towards older Guests such as the Highway in the Sky Dine Around culinary adventure!

However, I am also a huge fan of family-oriented experiences as well! The Pirates and Pals Fireworks Dessert Voyage is one of these events that is incredibly enjoyable regardless of age. Guests are invited to board a fireworks cruise across Seven Seas Lagoon but beware! You never know when you may come face-to-face with some fearsome pirates during your journey! I would highly recommend considering this event if you and your family are looking for a more adventurous way to experience Magic Kingdom’s nighttime fireworks spectacular.

This same sentiment applies to the second portion of your question. My husband and I never miss an opportunity to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! Even though we’re both adults, we love the opportunity to embrace the opportunity to dress up and trick-or-treat around Magic Kingdom. This event is definitively geared toward all ages and is another special event I highly recommend attending!

I hope you have bunches of fun continuing to plan for your trip to Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to remember, “Growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional”!
