I have a two part question. We are planning our first trip and we are staying in a time share that runs a shuttle bus to and from the parks. As far as the dinning plans, since we are not staying in the park can we still buy dinning passes?

Since you are staying off-property you are not eligible to participate in the Disney Dining Plan. The Dining Plan is only available as part of a Magic Your Way package that includes a Disney hotel stay, park tickets, and the Dining Plan.

As an off-site guest, you are still welcome to make reservations for and dine at any of the Walt Disney World restaurants in the parks and resorts, you'll just need to pay with money (cash, credit card, etc.) rather than with dining plan credits.
