Hello, after two miscarriages, I just found out that I am pregnant again and would like to have a small gender reveal at Disney World. I would love Disney to announce the reveal with fireworks in front of the Cinderella Castle. Can you please help me?

Oh boy/girl, Kalia! Three chEARs for the most magical news!

Congratulations from all of us here at planDisney. Here’s to many happy and wonder-filled times ahead of you, along with many future trips to The Most Magical Place on Earth!

Kalia, although fireworks have currently been halted during the phased reopening at Walt Disney World Resort, I would love to discuss other magical ways you can celebrate a small gender reveal!

The first thing I have to recommend is the Capture Your Moment - A Disney Parks Photo Experience. My family and I recently did this during our family reunion and it was so magical! You reserve a personalized 20-minute photo session with a Disney PhotoPass photographer. Our photographer took us to two magical areas around Cinderella Castle and got the best pictures! Be sure to tell them your plan about the gender reveal as you call to reserve so the photographer is ready to capture the sweetest moments.

A great option for a gender reveal would be to get Mousketeer Ear Hat for Baby. These are sold at Magic Kingdom as well and you can get “Our Prince” or “Our Princess” embroidered on it. To do this, you will need to give the Cast Member your sealed envelope so they’re in on your secret! I’ve hEARd Cast Members are the very best keepers of magical secrets. Once they have wrapped up the embroidered infant hat, you can go towards Cinderella Castle with your photographer to open it up!

You can also head to the Emporium located in Magic Kingdom Park where you can grab two outfits, perhaps a Mickey and a Minnie one. Take them to the register, along with the envelope that has the gender of the baby written. The Cast Member at the register can ring up the correct outfit and box it up for you while putting the other outfit away. Just like the other option, you can open up the outfit to reveal the gender of your little Mouseketeer in front of your photographer!

--Just thinking about this magical adventure has me feeling so excited for you! As a reminder, along with a valid admission, Guests also need to have a Disney Park Pass reservation. Be sure to make yours for the Theme Park you’d like to have your special moment at!

Kalia, we know you’ll have the most enchanting time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
