    Can two MagicBands be linked to two accounts under one reservation? My girlfriend and I are going to Disneyland in September. We each have our own MagicBands. We don’t want them both under my name so we each have our own tickets with our own names.

    Welcome to planDisney and thanks for coming to us with your question. I hope you're having a magical day and I'd be happy to help you! It sounds like you're in the midst of planning your trip to the Disneyland Resort and are wondering about MagicBands.

    First off, please note that only MagicBand+ is currently supported at the Disneyland Resort. If you are a Walt Disney World veteran and have older MagicBands, you might want to check what version you have. And speaking from personal experience, I had to unlink my MagicBand+ from My Disney Experience before I was able to link them to my Disneyland tickets.

    Each MagicBand+ may be linked to one ticket at a time, even if they are under the same reservation. So to answer your question, yes, you and your girlfriend will be able to assign your respective tickets to your own MagicBand+. Just download the Disneyland Mobile App and follow the linking instructions. Once linked within the App, you may then assign the ticket to the MagicBand+ by clicking the ☰ Features Menu and clicking the MagicBand+ button. 

    You and your girlfriend will be visiting over my favorite season: Halloween! If you're interested in Oogie Boogie Bash, follow the Disney Parks Blog for ticket sales announcements because these sell out pretty fast! It's one of the Disneyland Resort's most popular After Dark parties!
