Hi Michelle! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
I'm so happy to hear you're enjoying your year of increased access to the magic. As a
Magic Key holder, I love the
discounts and perks too. We really like to dine in the parks at our favorite Table Service dining locations, and the dining discount really comes in handy on our dining adventures!
The whole family having a Magic Key certainly is convenient, so I understand you want to add your mother to the Magic Key holder club now that she's living with you. Unfortunately, the sales of Magic Keys are currently paused. This happens from time to time, and eventually, they should up again. At which point, you can enter a virtual waiting room for your chance to purchase a Magic Key for her too.
My advice is to follow the
Disney Parks Blog for the news of sales being announced. Another good one to follow is the
Disneyland Magic Key blog, which is a great resource for Magic Key holders. Also, update your MyDisney account with your current contact information and opt to receive all communications from Disney. It is possible that some Magic Keys will sell out quickly, so you'll want to know exactly when to log in to attempt to complete your purchase. Prices and terms are subject to change. Be sure you've read through all the current benefits for the Magic Key you're interested in purchasing, as they can change, including those all-important
Blockout dates. You want to make sure you're buying the right Magic Key for your mother's needs.
In the meantime, there are some great deals that you might want to take advantage of so that your mother can access the parks at a great price, including the 3-Day Disneyland Offer. If you're eligible, the Anaheim Ticket Deal is great too. Follow the
Deals and Offers page for the current selection of fantastic discounts available.
I hope this helps!
Elizabeth
