I have two guests on my plans, and I’m trying to make dining reservations for them. It will not let me take myself off as a guest. If i keep my name on there, will it matter if I don’t show up as long as the two guests show up to the reservation?

    Hello Geneva!

It is always magical to see a Guest who returns to us with their questions, so welcome back to planDisney!

I have done exactly what you are doing on several occasions. As the official Disney planner in my family, I am the one who gets up at 6 AM to make all the Advance Dining Reservations for the vacation. On our upcoming trip, for example, the family we are traveling with wanted to have a smaller dinner with just their kids, and so I made the reservation for them. My name is the primary, but I have added the other adults on the reservation as well. There shouldn’t be any difficulty for your friends when they go to dine. When they approach the podium, just have them give the name on the reservation, for example, “Hello! We have a reservation for Minnie Mouse at 5:30 PM!” and they will be good to go. If there was ever any question, just have your Guests tell the Cast Members that you made the reservation for them since you are the Disney expert of the group and there shouldn't be any problem.

I hope this helps to alleviate any concerns, Geneva, and while I usually say that I hope you’ll send more questions, for you I’ll say, “See ya real soon!”
