how do I use two gift cards for a single purchase?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Catrina. Thanks for dropping in to ask us this question. It looks like your visit to the Disneyland Resort is just around the corner, so let's make sure you're all set.

Gift cards are the best, especially if it's a Disney Gift Card. And what's better than one gift card? Multiple gift cards! While the Disneyland site can only accept one gift card, there's no need to worry (Hakuna matata). You can consolidate and transfer balances to one card at the Disney Gift Card site. Just click on "My Cards" from the top and then log into your MyDisney account. Add both of your gift cards to the site and then use the "Transfer Funds To This Card" button to move all funds to one card. Each Disney Gift Card can hold a maximum balance of $1,000. Now you're ready to make your purchase with one card.

If you happen to have any funds left over, be sure to take them with you for your visit. I love using my gift cards to purchase meals in the Disneyland app using the mobile order feature. If you take your physical card with you, you can select "Use a Different Payment Method" and select "Add a Card" under the Disney Gift Card payment method. You can type in the card number, or I like to use the "Scan Barcode" feature to make things quick and easy. Voilà, you're good to go!

Catrina, I hope this has been helpful and gets you one step closer to your magical adventure. Let us know if there's anything else that we can help with. Here's hoping you have your best Disney day at the Happiest Place on Earth!
