Hi Lisa!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I just had to take your question as I’m the momma of four-year-old twins too! It sounds like your kiddos’ grandparents are about to win Grandma and Grandpa of the Year when they not only purchase Walt Disney World tickets for your kiddos but also
take them themselves!
One of the significant advantages of living close to the Mouse is the great discounts to be had on Disney Theme Park tickets, and I love that the grandparents want to take advantage of that. Tickets can be purchased in person at any of the four theme park ticket windows, or online and then picked up at will call. To activate Florida Resident tickets, they need to be present and show
proof of Florida Residency when the tickets are picked up. Only adults over the age of 18 need proof of residency, so your twins should be good to go!
While the foursome is visiting, I think a fabulous place to go on a “date” with the grandparents, is
Toy Story Land at
Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Grandma and Grandpa will love the “vintage” toys, and everyone can get in on the fun at Toy Story Mania! I say whoever wins treats everyone to breakfast at
Disney Jr Play ’n Dine, where the twins can meet their favorite Disney Jr pals, and everyone can enjoy some delicious Mickey waffles!
Lisa, if you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to come back. I wish the four of them a play BIG vacation!
