We have two families staying at Pop Century in November. Who can I contact to request for adjoining rooms or at least adjacent rooms? I have been on the hold over an hour and a half trying to speak with someone, but I have to get to work. Thanks!

    Heigh-Ho Randy,

Welcome to planDisney, I am happy to suggest some steps you can take to make your Walt Disney World Resort request known, prior to your arrival. Guests traveling with larger families and requiring multiple rooms can make their adjoining or connecting room requests known at the time of booking. But what can you do if families have multiple reservations and would like to attempt to have rooms near each other?

Each family, with a reservation, should contact a Walt Disney World Resort reservationist to make their request. Be sure to have both reservation numbers handy for reference. And while I understand your frustration, the most successful way to do this is by calling (407) 939-1936. Phone lines open at 7:00 a.m. EST and it is best to call as soon as they open. Cast Members are dealing with a high call volume and doing their best to get to everyone. Another option, via your My Disney Experience mobile app, is to utilize the Chat With Us feature. Simply open your app and select the menu option in the lower right-hand corner and scroll to Chat With Us. Type a detailed request, include both Reservation numbers and HOLD until a Cast Member can assist. Again, Cast Members are dealing with a high volume of Guest inquiries. I suggest picking a day where waiting is an option and you can rise and shine early, brew a pot of coffee, select a movie or book and wait. As a side note, your room request is not guaranteed but every attempt will be made possible. On your arrival day, visit the Front Desk of Disney's Pop Century Resort and speak with a Cast Member to see if your request was accommodated or can be accommodated. It may require some waiting but hopefully, with a little bit of Faith, Trust, Pixie Dust and Patience all will work out.

We look forward to Welcoming You Home to the Most Magical Place On Earth, during Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary.

    Have a Practically Perfect Day,

    Amy M.
