We have two families coming with 4 children 5 yrs and under. The older two children are too big for a stroller, but too young to be expected to walk all day. What are the stroller rentals like? Will they accommodate the older children?

    Hi Magen,

That sounds like a great time. The kids will love being able to experience the Disney magic together.

We have been traveling to Disney World since our three boys were infants, so I feel like I have pushed more than my share of strollers through the Disney parks. The days at the parks are long and often hot and can be very tiring for kids, even adults too. My two youngest boys are now seven and nine and we still rent a stroller occasionally to rest their tired feet. The rental locations are in the front of each of the parks and the strollers can be rented anytime of the day and for your entire vacation.

The strollers are available in single and double sizes and depending on the size of the children, will most likely fit two children in your age group. I was just there a few weeks ago with the boys and we rented a double stroller a few times for them. Although they have gotten older, they were able to take turns being chauffeured around and a few times they even rode together with the older child in the back and the younger sitting on the "floor" of the stroller between his brothers legs.

I think you will find that the Disney strollers will comfortably fit most children under the age of five and are great to have around to avoid those exhausted meltdowns. Wishing all of you a magical and memorable trip!
