Hello, I have two Epcot tickets for this Friday. I unfortunately cannot make the trip due to Illness. Would I be able to move the date of my tickets?

    Hi Logan,

I’m sorry you are under the weather, but you came to the right place to help get your Walt Disney World Resort visit in “spit-spot” shape, as Mary Poppins would say! At planDisney, we believe that a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down, so let’s get you started on making new magical plans!

Never fear, you can modify theme park tickets, including your ticket dates. Simply head to the Walt Disney World Website, and under the My Disney Experience tab, log in to your My Disney Experience account online, and select “My Plans.” Select the tickets you need to modify to select a new date for your visit.  To keep things simple, I encourage you to modify your ticket before Friday if you can. And here is some good news, Logan, the price paid for a wholly unused ticket can be applied to the purchase of a new ticket with an equal or higher price. Just remember that no refund or credit is given if the change you make results in a lower ticket price. You will also pay the difference if the new ticket date is an additional cost.

Finally, if you need to modify your park reservation, you can do so on the website under “My Plans” or you can use the My Disney Experience app. In the app, select the menu on the lower right-hand corner of the home screen, and then head to “Future Plans.” Simply select the park reservation you would like to modify and click “Modify Reservation.” If your ticket is a one-day one-park ticket, your park reservation will automagically be selected for you on the new date you selected.

Logan, I hope these simple steps will help ease your mind and get you on your way to a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation soon and you can enjoy the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. I hear that this year’s Garden Graze stroll is especially delicious. While you are working on being well, take a look at the Disney Eats Foodie Guide to the festival. Hopefully, it will be just the spoonful of sugar you need right now. In the meantime, remember that Mary Poppins was right, try saying Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! It’s extraordinary! It does make you feel better!

If you have any other questions, please stop back by and let me or one of my planDisney pals know. We love helping other Guests have a practically perfect Disney vacation!

    Feel better soon,
    Shannon
