We are going for two days and one night with our 5 and 8 year old girls. Should we do two days at Magic Kingdom, or one at MK and one at Epcot? Which deluxe resort should we stay at? Which restaurant in MK or Epcot would you go to for a sit down meal?

Hotel: Stay on the monorail route. My preference is the Polynesian, but the Contemporary and Grand Floridian are great too, so pick based on what theme the girls would prefer. With these you can get to both parks by monorail.

Parks: Go to the Magic Kingdom the first day. Then as a family decide at dinner whether you should go to Epcot, or back to the Magic Kingdom on the second day. Take park maps to dinner so you can have fun making the decision.

Dining: With just one night, here are some different options. For an upscale meal, go to California Grill (Contemporary). For boisterous fun, go to Biergarten (German Pavilion in Epcot), or the Whispering Canyon Cafe (Wilderness Lodge). For a character experience go to Chef Mickey's (Contemporary - Mickey and Friends) or Akershus (Norway Pavilion at Epcot - Princesses). I recommend all these above any sit-down dining in the Magic Kingdom.
