I have two daughters who are senstive to loud, sharp sounds. When music from Wishes is piped into our BLT room, are the booms from the fireworks piped in as well? It would be nice if they could enjoy the fireworks. Thanks Moms & Dads! I love this panel

I has the good fortune to stay at the Bay Lake Tower for the first time last week.

Because of the close proximity to the Magic Kingdom, the percussive noise of the Wishes fireworks show is quite loud in the outdoor areas around BLT. However, indoors things are much more muffled.

If you have a Magic Kingdom view room, you can choose to turn on the musical accompaniment to Wishes in your room during the show. This is only the audio track. There are no "booms" recorded on the soundtrack, only the music and spoken words. You can turn this on at any volume you wish. Because you are indoors, you will have the actual explosions from the park in the background, but in a very muted way.

My suggestion for the best indoor viewing at BLT, is to go up to the lounge on the 16th floor of the building. There is a wonderful panoramic view of the park with a grand indoor viewing area.

    Enjoy!
