Two of my co-workers have been to Disney World during the cooler months and they have both told me to not expect to go swimming as the pools are not heated. Is this true (going in March). Brrr!

Hello Kerry!   Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.   It's always a pleasure to help out a fellow Guest. I understand how important being able to enjoy a swim is during your vacation.   My children often pick which Resort hotel they want to stay at, based on how the pool looks.   I think it really is one of their favorite parts of a vacation at Walt Disney World.

I have some great news for you, all pools at Walt Disney World Resort hotels are heated to a toasty 82 degrees fahrenheit year round.  Kerry,  you will definitely be able to enjoy a splash in the pool during your trip in March.   Keep in mind even though the water will be warm, the air may not be so welcoming.   I would keep towels and a cover up nearby so you can quickly get to them when you get out of the water.

Disney sometimes will close the pools and Water Parks if the temperature is expected to be near freezing, but that is few and far between.   So be sure to pack your swimsuit, you most likely will be able to use it multiple times during your vacation.   Be sure to stop by again with any further questions you may have.

    Have a Splashtastic Day,

    Jen
