Ahoy Shannon!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited about your upcoming visit,
Disney’s Beach Club Resort is one of my favorite resorts on property! Stormalong Bay is hands down my children’s ideal pool, and
Cape May Cafe is a delightful and delicious Character breakfast!
You are a great sleuth and noticed the difference between the two-bedroom villa and the two-bedroom lock-off villa. The reason why the lock-off villa has the pulldown Murphy bed is that it is a studio attached to a one-bedroom villa, and the studio has the pulldown bed. So the regular two-bedroom villa will not have the Murphy bed.
If you are in the Resort lobby looking towards
Disney’s BoardWalk, the Villas are to your back left, right past Beach Club Marketplace. They are a short walk away from the lobby (a few minutes), which in turn is a short walk away from Stormalong Bay. Heading to Epcot, you can shave a few minutes off and take a pathway from the Villas alongside the Resort buildings. Either way, you have approximately a five-minute walk to the pool or a less than 10-minute walk to Epcot’s International Gateway.
When you put in your room request, see if there is an option that is closest to the lobby. Those rooms will be the shortest distance to the pool and Epcot. Remember though, a request is just that, a request. Wherever your room is though, at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, you genuinely have the benefit of location, location, location! So it will be fabulous regardless!
Shannon, if you have any additional questions, please sail back by. I
shore wish you a wonderful vacation!
