Is the Twinings Tea Garden tour at Epcot available year round? If not, what other tea related events besides the Roses of Gold Afternoon Tea held at the Cake Bake shop are available during Thanksgiving week? TIA!

Hi Heather, and welcome back to planDisney! My family and I stayed at Disney World during Thanksgiving week a few years ago, and it was such a magical place to celebrate the holiday together. As a fellow tea lover, I’d be happy to talk about all of the tea-related things at Disney World!

I just confirmed with a Cast Member that the complimentary Twinings English Tea Garden Tour is typically offered only during the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. I had the opportunity to go on this tour a few years ago, and it was fun to learn more about the history of tea and how it’s made. The next time you’re in EPCOT, you can still stop by The Tea Caddy in the United Kingdom pavilion to check out the wide assortment of Twinings tea and other tea accessories for sale.

The only tea-related event that I know about is the Roses of Gold Afternoon Tea that you mentioned at The Cake Bake Shop. I’ve had some friends who’ve done it and said it was a lovely experience, perfect for a special occasion! It’s also just steps away from EPCOT’s International Gateway entrance (between the United Kingdom and France pavilions), so it makes the perfect midday break.

Since it sounds like you’re a fellow tea lover, there are a couple of spots I didn’t want you to miss! The first is the Royal Anandapur Tea Company at Animal Kingdom, next to Drinkwallah and across from Yak & Yeti Restaurant. This stand has a lot of the same Joffrey’s coffee and tea products that you’ll find at other drink kiosks, but what really sets Royal Anandapur apart is its selection of hot and cold specialty teas. I find that there are usually a few that are harder to find anywhere else at Disney World.

But if you’re looking for a really special tea, I’d recommend stopping by The Spice & Tea Exchange at Disney Springs. They have an endless selection of loose-leaf teas, and there’s also a tea bar where you can get a cup of tea freshly brewed.

I hope that you have a tea-riffic visit to Disney World this November! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome back at planDisney.
