Greetings, Barbara, and welcome to planDisney! Your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation will be here before you know it, and it sounds like you're making dining plans. Let's look at some options to eat like the king of the jungle when you head to the theme parks.
Tusker House Restaurant is located inside
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park in Africa, so guests dining there need a valid theme park admission. My family has enjoyed the
variety of cuisines on the buffet, and meeting Donald and pals in their safari gear made for some fantastic photos.
If you don't plan to visit the theme park, you might consider eating at
Rainforest Cafe®, just outside Animal Kingdom's entrance. You will not need a theme park ticket to eat here, and if you've already paid for
parking at another theme park, you'll show your receipt to park in the Animal Kingdom lot with no additional charge. Or you can use the
bus service to arrive in style!
Both of these Table Service restaurants accept advanced dining reservations, and since you're within the
60-day booking window, my tip is to secure an available spot as soon as possible. My husband and I typically book one sit-down meal daily to relax and recharge; it's also the perfect time to look at all the fun photos we've snapped!
Barbara, I hope your upcoming visit is full of adventure! Please
stop by planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
