Jambo Stephanie!
Welcome to planDisney! And thanks for stopping by with your question for us.
I love arriving at the parks first thing in the morning. The weather feels cooler, the parks feel peaceful, and there’s something extra magical about taking a stroll down
Discovery Island Trails and marveling at the
Tree of Life with its magnificent animal carvings up close.
Stephanie, I’m thrilled to hear you were able to snag an early breakfast reservation at
Tusker House Restaurant! Between the Safari Bread, and Mickey and Simba Waffles, and meeting your favorite pals as Donald Duck hosts a delightful meal, it’s hard not to fall in love with this dining experience!
Although Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park may not be open to the general public during your reservation time, since you have a dining reservation, you will be able to enter the theme park, so there is no need to change your reservation. Upon arrival, you may find two queues at the entrance of the park; one for
Early Theme Park Entry for Guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection hotels and one for dining reservations. Two Cast Members will be ahead of these lines, usually holding signs to help direct Guests. You will want to check in with the Cast Member who is verifying dining reservations, and once your reservation is verified, you’ll gain access to the park to head to your reservation! Yippie!
While you’re spending the day at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, I hope you make time to watch the
Festival of the Lion King. I cannot stop raving about this larger-than-life production filled with beautiful songs. Every Cast Member bringing this show to life is so very talented, and I always find myself in awe as I enjoy the performances.
Wishing you an enchanting vacation, Stephanie!
