Hi Krisst,
While some families closely watch their pennies and others love to splurge, all families, regardless of budget, have a magical time at the Walt Disney World Resort and make memories to last a lifetime!
I'd encourage to think about each spending category rather than trying to come up with one lump sum. You'll first want to plan for either gas money or airfare for your family to travel. After that, the other big considerations are lodging, tickets, and food. Whether you're staying off-site or right in the middle of the magic at a Disney Resort hotel, you'll find lodging to fit any budget.
Ticket prices have quite a range, too, depending on how many days you're visiting and if you'd like to add the Park Hopper or Park Hopper Plus Options. Prices drop pretty drastically the more days you add, and it's not very much more per person to go from a five-day ticket to a ten-day ticket, but feel free to choose the tickets that work best for your family's needs. As for food, you'll find
menus online with prices to help give you a feel for how much to budget. I generally budget about $15 per adult (ages 10+) and $7 per child for an average Quick-service meal. Table-service restaurants vary quite a bit in their price, so definitely check menus online and feel free to call (407) 939-3463 for more specific prices for buffets or Character meals as their price varies by season. And if you want to save some money on food, you're always welcome to
bring some of your own!
Beyond those items, don't forget to factor in
parking, snacks, photos, and souvenirs. Whatever you decide to spend, Krisst, have a truly magical vacation!
