I am trying to understand the Dining Plan. Help! How beneficial is it for our family? How restricted? Advice please. 2 adults, children will be 3 & 2 at time of trip. Thanks!!

    Hi Melissa!

The Disney Dining Plan is the best deal! Each guest will receive one Table Service, one Quick Service, two Snacks and a Rapid Refill Mug per night of your stay. The great thing is that you can use the Disney Dining Plan on any of the menu items at participating restaurants. I love the plan because it saves time, money and stress.

You can experience character dining meals, such as Crystal Palace or Chef Mickey's. Your kids will love dining with the characters and these all-you-care-to-eat buffets offer something for everyone.

You can also enjoy dining at wonderful new restaurants, such as Tiffins in Animal Kingdom. This is a fine dining restaurant, which means it will deduct two credits from your dining plan, but it's completely worth it.

You can even use the plan for dining experiences, such as the Fantasmic! Dinner Package.

There are few restrictions, such as you can not use dining credits for alcoholic beverages or souvenir items (such as popcorn in a character popcorn bucket). Also, unless you have the Deluxe Dining Plan, you can not use the plan for appetizers. Aside from that, the plan is flexible.
