Hi. Trying to understand dining plan. Breakfast: Entree; Lunch/Dinner: Entrée/Dessert/drink? Is it correct if you use for lunch you get more? Also if I have refill mug in the resort can I get a snack instead of the drink?

    Hi Sandra,

Thanks so much for sending us your question!  I love questions about the Disney Dining Plan, because they give me the chance to talk about my favorite Walt Disney World activity...eating!  When you're using the 2015 Disney Dining Plan, here's what's included for each person, per night of your stay:
    • One Quick-Service Meal
    • One Table-Service Meal
    • One Snack
Each person will also receive a Rapid Fill Resort refillable mug that can be used at your Disney Resort hotel for the length of your visit.

When ordering Quick-Service meals, you're exactly right - for breakfast, you can select an entree and a non-alcoholic beverage, and for lunch you can select an entree, a dessert and a non-alcoholic beverage - so you do get a bit more food at lunchtime.  With breakfast, lunch and dinner , there is also some flexibility built into the Plan, in that you can swap out the included non-alcoholic beverage (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and/or dessert (lunch and dinner) for any eligible Snack available at the location where you're dining.

So, your idea of getting a Snack for breakfast and using your Rapid Fill Resort refillable mug for your drink is a fantastic one.  In fact, the list of eligible Snacks was just expanded over the summer and now includes some options that make good breakfast choices...things like oatmeal, French toast sticks and whole fruit.  You can then save your Quick-Service meal for lunch or dinner, with the Table-Service meal filling in the remaining meal.

I hope that helps with your meal planning, Sandra, but visit us again if you have any other questions. Wishing you a magical vacation!
