    I am trying to start saving cause I want to plan a trip to disney with my 4 year old daughter next year & was wondering I want to start saving how much would it cost for me to go to disney..Ive never been before..Any suggestions on how I go about plann

    Josephine,

    There are two ways you can get an idea of how much money you need to save. The first is to call a Disney Authorized travel agent. Make sure you select a no-fee agency, like MouseFan Travel. The second is to use the Walt Disney World website to get an estimate.

    Either way, just put in the dates that you want to go, and since budget is important I would recommend you plan for the following;

    • Value Resort
    • Standard Disney Dining Plan
    • Magic Your Way Tickets with no options, for one day less than your total time in Orlando
    The dining plan is not always a money saver, especially with younger children like your 4-year old (I have 4 and 6-year old girls myself). But the standard dining plan cost gives you a good estimate of dining expenses. I would take that and add another $20 per day.

    Of course only you know your transportation plans, but add that in and you have the starting point of a budget for the trip. Write me back and we can work on this further when you give me some more details!

    Have a magical vacation!
