I am trying to set up a Disney account to link my husband and I together for our upcoming trip, but I keep getting an error. It's saying the email I'm trying to use already has an account associated, but there isn't one.

Hey there, Renee! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh boy! I'm so excited to hear that you're planning a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth this May! Can you believe that your visit is only a few weeks away?! To me, planning for my magical vacation is almost as much fun as being on my vacation! But oh, bother - I'm so sorry to hear that you're having trouble linking your husband to your My Disney Experience account. Let's see if we can turn this pumpkin of a problem back into a carriage!

First, it would be a good idea to double-check and see if your husband has made a My Disney Experience account in the past. My best tip would be to open Keychain or Passwords on your computer and see if your husband can find a Disney account that he has created with his email address. If he has, he can try to use this email and password to log into his My Disney Experience account! I know you've probably already checked this step, but it can't hurt to take one more peek.

If you've tried the above steps and you're still unable to link your husband to your My Disney Experience account using his email address, I would suggest reaching out to a Cast Member. As my pal Anna says, it would be the "next right thing!" Cast Members are a little like real-life fairy godparents who can often sprinkle some extra pixie dust on a situation. They will be more than happy to look at your reservations and plans, then take the next steps to link your husband correctly. If you do decide to call a Cast Member, I have two tips for you. First, try calling right at 7:00 AM EST. Calling right when phone lines open will help you to get the lowest wait times on the phone. Second, pack a little extra patience! Cast Members do everything they can to make every Guest's day the BEST. DAY. EVER. Since their brand of magic has recently been in high demand, I'm sure a friendly voice and some extra kindness will be warmly welcomed!

Renee, I'm sending you all the faith, trust, and pixie dust that your husband's account can be linked easily and you can be well on your way to making your Theme Park Reservations using the Disney Park Pass system! Once everything is linked correctly, you'll want to make those reservations as soon as possible. Also, prior to your trip, take some time to download and explore the My Disney Experience app! This app is like holding a magic wand in your hand, unlocking everything that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer. You'll be able to view park maps, check wait times for attractions, and even mobile order food. This is a great way to minimize waits and maximize the fun!

I hope I was able to help you today, Renee. If you have any other questions, please visit us again. Remember - you've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon!
