Hi, Stacey!
Thank you for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about the
Disney Skyliner. I've had the opportunity to experience the newest magical mode of
transportation at the Walt Disney World Resort twice this month and had a fantastic experience on each flight. And I loved how the theming of each station matched its location perfectly!
Stacey, since you are staying at
Disney's Pop Century Resort, you will need to make some connecting flights to travel to
Disney's Hollywood Studios and
Epcot. These connections will be made at the Disney Skyliner station at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. But, the good news I have for you is that these flights aren't very long and because the gondola system moves continuously, connections are quick. My daughter and I were able to fly each route on the Disney Skyliner in just one hour. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how quickly you'll move both in line to board and once in the air! There are plenty of signs at each station to help point you in the right direction, so you board the correct Disney Skyliner, and there are also plenty of Cast Members to assist you with any questions. I think you'll enjoy your magical flights, and the views are pretty spectacular, especially at sunset!
I also want to mention that you'll want to utilize the
Walt Disney World Bus Service the days you visit
Magic Kingdom and
Disney's Animal Kingdom. The Disney Skyliner does not have routes to these theme parks, but you'll enjoy being dropped off very close to both parks' entrances on the days you visit. I know I love having someone else do the navigating and driving when I'm on vacation, and no one does it better than Disney!
Stacey, it was a pleasure helping you with your magical plans. Please feel free to reach out again if you have any other questions about your 2020 visit.
Nancy
