Hi there, Lisa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you have a magical vacation in the works!
The Walt Disney World website has directions for
removing a guest from your Family & Friends list. This is a straightforward process if you are removing an adult who manages their own My Disney Experience account. However, things get trickier when you try to remove a guest who is a child, as in your case. I suggest first trying the following instructions:
*View your
Family & Friends list in
My Disney Experience.
*Locate the person that you wish to delete on the list and press the "Edit" button.
*You will see a page with details about the person that you wish to delete. Press the "Delete" button.
*A pop-up message will appear and ask you to confirm that you wish to permanently delete the person. Press the "Delete" button.
A friend of mine traveled with her daughter's chorus group and was unsuccessful at removing the names of the other students from her Family & Friends list after the trip. According to the website, you cannot delete Guests on your Family & Friends list who have active entitlements—such as
Disney Dining Plans or
MagicBands. Even if you try deactivating these items, the names may remain. In your situation, the easiest thing to do may be to call the Internet Help Desk for assistance. They can be reached seven days a week, starting at 7:00 AM EST at (407) 939-4357.
Best of luck, Lisa! If there's anything else you need, remember we're all ears!
