Trying to reserve the Royal table dinner in 30 minutes when it opens for October 10, but site is down. How can I do this?

Hi there, Lauren! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh boy! It sounds like you're making plans for the best part of any Walt Disney World Resort vacation - dining! Making advance dining reservations for delectable food with magical theming is an absolute joy of mine during the planning process. But oh, bother! I'm sorry to hear that the website was down when you were trying to make your dining reservations. I'm sending you all the faith, trust, and pixie dust that you were able to get every wish that your heart makes, but if not, I have a few tips for you!

    • First, I would suggest using one of the recommended browsers when trying to make your advance dining reservations. Personally, I tend to have the most success when using Google Chrome.
    • If you're still having difficulty when making a dining reservation, try logging into your My Disney Experience app. Oftentimes my phone is able to show me availability when my web browser is acting more like an evil villain than a princess.
    • If the above steps didn't work out for you, my next best piece of advice would be to call a Cast Member with Website Support at (407) 939-4357. They will do everything they can to take a peek at your reservations and assist you with your next steps.
    • Be flexible with your dates, times, and even the restaurant itself! I know you have your heart set on Cinderella's Royal Table, and I hope that this wish comes true. However, if you're looking for a character dining experience (since character dining is not currently available at Cinderella's Royal Table), you may be interested in an alternate option, such as Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White in Disney's Wilderness Lodge!
Lauren, I hope you were able to reserve every single dining experience that you were hoping for! As you continue to put an extra sprinkle of pixie dust on your magical vacation, be sure that you've also made your theme park reservations with the Disney Park Pass system. This is an important step to reserve the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip! Also, take some time to download and explore the My Disney Experience app. A little like a magic wand, you'll be able to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and even mobile order food - my favorite! This is a great way to minimize waits and maximize the fun.

If you have any other questions, I hope you visit us again. After all, you've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon!
